আবুল হাসনাত সুমন আর সাইফুদ্দিন আহমেদ চৌধুরী বাবু ঢাকার তিতুমীর কলেজে হিসাব বিজ্ঞানে অনার্স মাষ্টার্স করেছে। তার সহপাঠি ছিলো। সুমন আর বাবু সম্পর্কে বিয়াই হয়। সুমনের বড়ভাই বিয়ে করেছে বাবুর বোন। সেই হিসেবে দুই পরিবারের সদস্য দুজন। আরেকজন শরিফুদ্দীন আহমেদ একই কলেজ থেকে ব্যবস্থাপনায় অনার্স মাষ্টার্স। তিন বন্ধুর বাড়ী ফেনির ফুলগাজী। ঢাকাতে একই কলেজে ও একই ফ্যাকালটিতে পড়াশুনা, একই সাথে ঘুরা ফেরা, একই সাথে থাকা চলা। এক সাথে কলেজে, এক সাথে খাওয়া, এক সাথে ঘুমানো। তিন বন্ধু একেবারে মানিক জোড় হয়ে যায়। একজন আরেকজনকে ছাড়া থাকতে পারবেনা। কিভাবে লেখাপড়া শেষে এক সাথে থাকা যায় সেটা নিয়েও ভাবে। তখন শরীফ একটু খোচা মেরে বলে ‘তোরা দুজন তো আতœীয এক সাথে থাকতে পারবি আমিতো দল ছুট হয়ে যাবো।’ এই তিন বন্ধুর মধ্যে ব্যবসায়িক চিন্তা ভাবনা বেশি ছিলো সুমনের। পাঁচ ভাই এক বোনের পরিবারের মধ্যে সুমন সবার ছোট। বড়ভাইরা অনেকেই বিয়ে করে করে আলাদা সংসার হয়ে গেছে কেউ ঢাকাতে থাকে, কেউ চট্টগ্রামে থাকে। সুমন ভাবতে থাকে লেখাপড়া শেষ করে তারা কি করবে? আর কি করলে তিন বন্ধু এক সাথে থাকা যায়? সুমনের এক ভাই ফেনি শহরের শহীদ হোসেন উদ্দিন বিপনী বিতান (শহীদ মার্কেট) এ একটি কসমেটিকের দোকান আছে। সেখানে দু-তিনজন কর্মচারী নিয়ে সুমনের ভাই সেই দোকানটি চালায়। সুমনরা তিন বন্ধু ফেনিতে কলেজ ছুটিতে এলে এই দোকানে এসে বসে ও সময় কাটায় গল্পগুজব করে। পরে সুমনের ভাই দেশের বাইরে চলে যায় তখন সুমনের লেখাপড়া শেষ পথে সুমন এসে এই কসমেটিকের দোকানের দায়িত্ব নেয়। এই সময় ওর বিয়াই বাবু ওর সাথে ব্যবসা করতে চাইলে আর একটি দোকান নিয়ে পাইকারী ব্যবসার পার্টনার করে বাবুকে। শরীফ এসে আবার খোচা মারে যা বলেছিলাম তোরা তাই করলি দুই বিয়াই এক সাথে ব্যবসা শুরু করলি আমাকে বাদ দিয়ে। তখন সুমন ভাবে কি করা যায়? কি করলে তিন বন্ধু এক সাথে থাকা যায়? পরে ভেবে চিন্তে দেখে আশে পাশে কোন গাভীর খামার নেই। প্রত্যেকের বাড়ীর দুধের চাহিদার জন্য বাজার থেকে প্যাকেট দুধ কিনতে হয়।

ওরা বাংলাভিশনের শ্যামল বাংলা, এটিএনের মাটির সুভাস, জিটিভির সবুজ বাংলা চ্যানেল আইএর শাইখ সিরাজের কৃষি বিষযক অনুষ্ঠান দেখে দেখে ভাবে যদি কোন ভাল চাকরি না পাই, তাহলে তারা গ্রামে গিয়ে কৃষি কাজ করবে। ঠিক যখন ভালো চাকরি তিন বন্ধু পেলনা। পরে তিন বন্ধু বসে ভাবলো এক সাথে থাকার জন্য একটি ডেইরিফার্ম আমাদের আটকাতে পারবে। ২০১২ সালের জানুয়ারী মাসে সুমন ফোন করে জিটিভির সবুজ বাংলা অনুষ্ঠানের পরিচালকের কাছে। ফোনে সুমন উৎসাহ পায় ডেইরিফার্ম করবার। তারপর সীমান্তবর্তি গ্রাম কামাল্লা। কামাল্লা গ্রামে ৩ একর জায়গা লিজ নেয় ১০ বছরের জন্য। এখানে তার পরিকল্পিতভাবে একটি ডেইরিফার্ম গড়ে তুলবে। এরপর সবুজ বাংলার পরিচালকের কথা মতো ডা. নুরুল আমীনের সন্ধ্যান পায়। এর মধ্যে ওরা পুরো জায়গা ঘিরে ফেলে একটি টিনসেড তুলে ফেলে সেখানে দুইটা ফিজিয়ান জাতের বকনা বাছুরও কিনে ফেলে বাছুর দুটোকে সার্বক্ষনিক দেখাশুনার জন্য একজন কর্মচারিও রাখে। এর পর ফেনির বিভিন্ন জায়গা ও ল´ীপুর থেকে আরো কিছু গরু কিনে নিয়ে আসে।এরপর তিন বন্ধু বাজেট তৈরী করে চার লাখ করে ১২ লাখ টাকা নিয়ে তারা ডেইরি ব্যবসা শুরু করবে।
তিন বন্ধুর তিন পরিবার বেঁকে বসে, কেনো তারা ডেইরি ফার্ম করবে? তারা হিসাব বিজ্ঞান ও ব্যবস্থাপনার মতো ভালো সাবজেক্টে অনার্স মাষ্টার্স করা ছেলে। সরকারী- বেসরকারী বা মাল্টিন্যাশনাল কোম্পানীর বড় কর্মকর্তা হবে তারা। তা না হয়ে সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে চলে যায় ডেইরী খামারে, তারা গিয়ে গরু বাছুরগুলোকে দেখাশুনা করা, গরুর গোবর পরিষ্কার করা, গাভী দোহন করা, গাভী ও বাছুরের গোসল করানো খাবার দেওয়া, সকল কাজ ওরা সকালে শেষ করে কর্মচারির উপর রেখে চলে আসে শহরে। এর মধ্যে দেখা যায় ডা. নুরুল আমীন ২০১২ সালের জুলাই মাসে পোষ্টিং হয়ে চলে আসে ফেনিতে চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগের আঞ্চলিক প্রাণিরোগ গবেষনা ও অনুসন্ধান কেন্দ্রের প্রধান বেজ্ঞানিক কর্মকর্তা হিসেবে। এর উপর ডা. নুরুল আমীন খামার পরিদর্শনে গিয়ে দেখে বেহাল দশা। তিন বন্ধুকে এনে ৭ দিনের প্রশিক্ষন দেয়। তার চট্টগ্রামের কিছু ভালো ভালো কামারে নিয়ে গিয়ে সরেজমিনে দেখায়। যে কিভাবে সুন্দর ফার্ম গড়ে তুলতে হয়্ আর কিভাবে ভালো ফার্ম গড়ে তুলে ভালো ব্যবসা করা যায়। এরপর ওদের যে ১২ লাখ টাকা পুজি সেটার ৫ লাখ টাকা এর মধ্যে খরচ করে ফেলে ওরা। বাকি ৭ লাখ টাকা নিয়ে সুন্দর করে পূর্ব-পশ্চিম লম্বা করে বিশাল করে একটি পাকা সেড তৈরী করে দেয়, বৈজ্ঞানিক সেড যেটাকে বলে। এটা করতে প্রায় ৪ লাখ টাকা খরচ হয়ে যায় বাকি তিন লাখ টাকা দিয়ে আরো কিছু বকনা বাছুর কেনে।

২০১৩ সালের জানুয়ারী মাসে এসে ৮টি গাভী দুধ দেয়, আর সতেরোটি বকনা বাছুর থাকে। এই নিয়ে তিন বন্ধু মেতে ওঠে ফার্মে। গাভী বা বাছুরদের যখন যে ধরনের সমস্যা হয় সেটা নিজেরাই কিছুটা ব্যবস্থা নিতে পারে, আর না হয় ডা. নুরুল আমীন সাহেবেকে জানায়, সে সরেজমিনে দেখে ব্যবস্থাপত্র দেন। মহান আল্লাহপাকের ইশারায় ওদের ফার্মের কোন গাভী বা বাছুরের কখনোই কোন রোগ বা কোন বাছুর বা গাভী আজ পর্যন্ত মারা যায়নি। ২০১৪ সালের মে মাসে এসে তাদের দুধ দেওয়া গাভীর সংখ্যা দাড়ায় ২০টিতে আর বড় বাছুর আর ছোট বাছুর থাকে ৩৭টি। ২০টি গাভীতে প্রতিদিন ২৬০ লিটার দুধ দেয়।
পরিবারের সবাই যখন ওদের বিরোধীতা করতো ওরা তখন গাভীর খাটি দুধ নিয়ে প্রতিদিন বাসায় যেতো। কুসুমগরম খাটি দুধ পেয়ে বাড়ীর ছোটরা ও মহিলারা প্রথমে ওদের পাশে দাড়াতে থাকে। আশে পাশের প্রতিবেশি ও আতœীয়স্বজন অনেকেই প্রথমে অনেক ধরনের কথা বলতো তাদেরও প্রথম প্রথম দুধ উপহার হিসেবে পাঠাতো। পরবর্তিতে তারা প্রতিদিন যোগান হিসেবে দুধ নেয়। এখানে তিন বন্ধুর তৃপ্তি নিজ পরিবার, প্রতিবেশি ও আতœীয় স্বজনকে তারা খাটি দুধ খাওয়াতে পারছে। মেধাবী জাতি গঠনে খাটি গরুর দুধের বিকল্প নেই। আর সেই খাটিদুধ তিন বন্ধু তাদের এলাকার মানুষের মাঝে দিতে পারছে। প্রতিদিন ২৬০ লিটার মানে প্রায় তিন থেকে চারশো পরিবারকে তারা খাটি দুধ দিচ্ছে। সামনে তাদের ইচ্ছা প্রতিদিন ১০০০ লিটার দুধ উৎপাদন করার। আর এটা সম্ভব আধুনিক ও বৈজ্ঞানিক পদ্ধতি অনুসরন করে ডেইরি খামার করলে, আর খামারের গাভীদের কাঁচা ঘাসের ব্যবস্থা তাদের থাকলে, খামার দিনে দিনে বড়ই হবে। একদিন যারা দুটি বাছুর নিয়ে শুরু করেছিলো এই আড়াই তিন বছরে তাদের খামারে ৫০টির অধিক গরু হয়ে গেছে। যদি খামারের বাছুর মারা না যায়। বাছুরকে পর্যাপ্ত দুধ খাওয়ানো হয় ও নিয়ম মাফিক সব ধরনের ভ্যাকসিনেশনগুলো করা হয়, তাহলে খামার সামনে এগুবেই এখানে কোন দ্বিমত নেই। পাঁচ বছর পরে দেখা যাবে এই খামারে চারশতাধিক গরু বাছুর হয়ে গেছে। তিন বন্ধুর ইচ্ছা তারা প্রথম ১০ বছর কোন লভ্যাংশ এখান থেকে তারা নিবে না। প্রতিনিয়ত তারা খামার বড়ো করতে থাকবে। এর মধ্যে পাশে আরো ৪ একর জমি লিজ নিয়েছে সেখানে তারা ঘাস উৎপাদন করছে। ৫ জন কর্মচারি রেখেছে। তারা আশ পাশের বিল থেকেও কাঁচা ঘাস কেটে নিয়ে আসে। এখানে শাহিওয়াল, ফ্রিজিয়ান ও জার্সি জাতের ৫৭ টি গরু রয়েছে। গরুর সংখ্যা তেমন বেশী না, কম হলেও এই খামারটির কয়েকটি বিশেষ দিক রয়েছে। প্রথমতম, এই খামারটি বেশ পরিষ্কার, পরিচ্ছন্ন পরিপাটি ও খোলামেলা। চারপাশ থেকে পর্যাপ্ত আলোবাতাস খামারে প্রবেশ করতে পারে। গরু চরানোর জন্য শেডের সামনের দিকে পর্যাপ্ত খোলা জায়গা রয়েছে। গাভীকে খাওয়ানোর জন্য পর্যাপ্ত ঘাসের ব্যবস্থাও আছে এখানে।

আর কামাল্লা মূলত সীমান্তবর্তি পাহাড়ী ও টিলা এলাকা, এখানে ঘাস লতার পাতা আছে প্রচুর পরিমান। তাছাড়া পর্যাপ্ত ধানের খড় তারা আগে থেকেই কিনে রেখেছে। গুদামজাত করেছে আগে থেকে দানাদার খাবার। প্রতি সপ্তাহে গরুর গোবর ও চুনা পরীক্ষা নিরিক্ষা করায় যে গাভরি শরীরে কোন রোগ আছে কিনা। আবার পরীক্ষা নিরিক্ষা করায় গাভীর প্রতিটা বাটের দুধের যে গাভীর বাটে ম্যাসটাটাইটস রোগ আসছে কিনা। এক কথায় প্রচন্ড সতর্ক ও সচেষ্ট থাকে তিন বন্ধু খামারের প্রতি।
তিন বন্ধুর সকাল হয় খামারে। তারা খামারে গিয়ে মুখে পানি দেয়, সকাল ১০টা পর্যন্ত কর্মচারিদের সাথে এক সাথে কাধে কাধ মিশেয় কাজ করে, খামারের গরু বাছুরের পরিচর্যা করে দুধ সবার বাড়ীতে বাড়ীতে পাঠায়। তারপর খামারেই নাস্তা রান্না হয়, সেখানে নাস্তা শেষ করে বাসায় এসে তাদের অন্য পেশায় বা ব্যবসায় চলে যায়। আবার রাতের বেলা চলে আসে খামারে একে একে সকল গরু বাছুরগুলো পর্যবেক্ষন করে, যে কর্মচারিরা ভুল করে কোন গাভী বা বাছুরকে যদি পরিচর্যা কম করে সেটা দেখাশুনা করে। এছাড়া খামারের গাভী বা বাছুরদের রোগ যাতে না আসতে পারে সেজন্য সব সময় তৎপর থাকে তিন বন্ধু মানিক জোড়।
বর্তমানে তাদের খামারের গাভী বাছুর আর স্থাপনা মিলে প্রায় মূলধন হতে চলেছে কোটি টাকার মতো। কয়দিন আগে যারা বিরোধিতা করছিলো, যারা তিন বন্ধুকে তিরষ্কার করতো আজ তাদের সামনে এই তিন বন্ধু আদর্শ। আজ অল্প দিনে বেশি ভালো করছে তারা উচ্চশিক্ষিত তাদের মনোবল দৃঢ়, তারা কাজকে ছোট করে দেখেনা, তারা নিজেদের প্রতিষ্ঠা করার জন্য প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ ও প্রশিক্ষিত। তারা এই কাজে কখনো ভয় পায়নি। প্রতিনিয়ত সাফল্যের পিছনে তিন বন্ধু এক হয়ে কাজ করেছে।
